Fit perfectly in my Fully Stand Up Desk. Original was lost during a move.I like the fact that you can adjust the opening of the items. The items were used to cover holes that someone drilled into the side of my kitchen cabinet that looked terrible and that now look acceptable.Just as advertised. I saw some postings saying this needed a 2-1/4" hole, but the one I received clearly said a 2" hole saw and I measured and used a 2" hole saw with no problems. The piece fit fine in the 2" hole.Works perfect as a very inexpensive desk grommet for my computer power and data cords. The outer shell is just that - a plastic shell 2" outer diameter plus a flanged and beveled top that extends out past the hole a good 1/4". Even if you aren't precise about your 2" hole, this won't fall in unless you cut a 2-1/2" hole. The top insert that snaps into the shell is a two-piece unit. The lower piece has three different-size gaps cut in it, in case you really want to be picky about your cords. The upper piece swivels around to let you pick any of the three holes, and helps to close up any gaps if you are using a little larger lower gap than you need. The insert snaps into the lower shell securely - it won't pop out just by moving a cord a little bit, but it is easy enough to pop out to change cord arrangements. After reading many reviews for similar items, it seems a common issue was that the grommet was not of the actual size stated. I ordered the 2 inch version and it fit snugly into a hole created by my 2 inch hole saw bit. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't fit all all of the cables I needed to run, but it will fit 4 cables of the power or Ethernet sized diameters on the largest setting. Not sure it would fit more than that. Its also nice you can order a single one instead of a multi pack when you just need one.I bought a new work desk online that, unbeknown to me, came with circle cut outs through the top surface through which one could run wires. They were 3 and 1/8 inch holes, so all sorts of things on the desk could fall through. I didn't really need or want such big openings. So these Cordaway grommets worked and fit perfectly. The light gray color matched the similar finish color of the desk's legs i'd selected. The opening slot works fine...its very adjustable, though i don't need it myself. Very happy with this product. My son’s IKEA desk grommet cracked and I thought this would be a direct replacement as it measured 3” on my measuring tape but sure enough it’s just slightly smaller than this item so I had to dremel the hole a bit to fit.The inside diameter of this plug is a bit smaller than 2" which means it is a bit loose in a true 2" hole. The problem with that is if any cables put tension on the side of this, it will pull up out of the hole or sit at an unsightly angle. I'm probably going to have to apply some glue to the side of this to get it to truly stick in my hole and not pull up. See the attached picture to get an idea of what I'm complaining about.Other than the poor fit, this is fine. But since the whole purpose for me buying these was to have an aesthetically pleasing hole for cables, having the grommet sit at an angle is not really delighting me.These are what they are. No secrets or ground breaking review here. My only complaint is that they are loose in the hole. No used 2 different hole saws and both are in my opinion overly loose. I feel like it need to be an 1/8th larger or have some teeth on the outdoors to bite and hold.Good product
