it really is a beautiful chair and I absolutely purchased this item because of the appearance. overall, it is comfortable and does what it's supposed to do... HOWEVER, for $150, I would expect the chair to not break within the first hour of receiving it. the lever no longer works. when you get off the chair, it slides up without touching the lever and as soon as you sit back down, it sinks. for $150, I really wish it lasted longer than an hour.also the reviews that say that "it leans forward a little bit" are right. but I think it's only uncomfortable if you're not sitting all the way back in the seat. if you're just halfway on the chair then, yeah, it gets uncomfortable real fast but that just seems like more of a posture problem. I like to keep a step stool under my chair to keep myself from crossing my legs and I find that that also helps with the slightly forward slant of the seat.disappointed but, hey, at least it's pretty ?‍♀️February 4, 2021 I just received this chair. It took less than 5 minutes to read the instructions and make sure all the parts were shipped. It took less than 15 minutes and only 4 steps to put the chair together - I had one other person helping me. But I would have probably been able to assemble this chair alone in 20-30 minutes. When I sat in the chair for the first time, I felt like I was not able to cozy into the back of the chair - I am too wide. However, the chair seats me very comfortably, it feels sturdy, it glides smoothly across my chair mat, and I just feel like it is a great chair. It is also very soft, I love the velvety material, and it is a beautiful chair. I will hope to post an update later, after I use this chair for a few weeks, just to let you know if it is still sturdy and beautiful! I feel like this chair is a KEEPER!!update on June 3, 2021: after a few months of using this chair, my family all love this chair. it is still sturdy but plush and velvety soft. there is an ever-so-slight creaking sound that the metal legs of the chair make, when the chair moves. this doesn't disturb me at all, however, so that this review will be more helpful to those needing absolute silence, i decided to include it here. i still feel like this chair is a KEEPER!!It's a beautiful chair but a good work at home chair.Absolutely love the quality and the materials, but the chair tilts forward after correct assembly in such a way that sitting for more than a couple hours is uncomfortable. I think I can fix it by adding a few extra thick washers to the front of the chair so that it's more level. Aside from that issue it's very pretty and looks fantastic in my office.Nice chairI had really high hopes for this chair. It arrived very quickly and was very easy to assemble. That being said. The chair is very strange to sit in. The seat is angled downward so when you sit in it you tend to slide forward and all your weight rests on your knees. The velvet seat just adds to this effect because you are slipping down even more.The color is awesome and asthetically it is beautiful but not at all practical especially for long term use.It doesn’t roll very well across the tile floor is the only drawback.Okay I love this chair. It’s not only cute but COMFORTABLE!!! I was worried it wouldn’t be, but I was willing to sacrifice comfort for cuteness… but it’s also comfy! I have it in the pink and gold, it was easy to put together and it’s just really really a great chair.
