I was skeptical about buying a desk at this price point. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Desk arrived in two boxes. tabletop in one and the base in the other. The box the tabletop came in looked a little beat up and upon opening there was slight damage to one of the tabletop corners. One call to the the vendor and this issue was successfully remedied to my utmost satisfaction (Uncaged Ergonomics is a class act). Other than the slight damage (unnoticeable) to one corner the tabletop looks fantastic (dark bamboo). One person can assemble the desk and it took about 1 hour from start to finish. The desk base provides a very stable platform and went together exactly as the instructions outlined. The self tapping screws for attaching the tabletop to the base worked perfectly. Attaching the control panel and associated electronic box to the underside of the tabletop was straightforward with no issues encountered. Once assembled I would suggest getting help when moving the desk as it is a little on the heavy side (a quality sturdy product is going to be like that). Don't freak out (like I did) when you first hit the up arrow on the controller and nothing happens. Just read the instructions and reset the unit then everything will work fine. Motors are quiet, movement is smooth and memory function works great. Desk is stable at all positions. As you get to the higher positions you may notice some slight monitor vibrations when typing (heavy handed) or playing games (rapid mouse movement). I am glad that it does not have grommet holes in the tabletop as I would not have used them in my cable routing scheme. I absolutely love this desk and highly recommend it and the company (Uncaged Ergonomics).Three of these desks were bought for my office (one was for me). VERY sturdy desk. We needed this size because we have two large monitors on each of our desks and this was the width we needed. There is no wiggling when you raise it up and put it down while your monitors are on it. Goes up and down very smoothly. Excellent bamboo desk surface - good quality. This really is worth every penny! If you consider what you would pay for a regular desk and then just put a separate riser on top, this standing desk is really a much better purchase - looks better and feels so much more efficient. I would definitely recommend THIS desk!I am totally pleased with this table - both functionally for me and it pleases my wife for fitting into the the room theme, Great ergonomic support device. Very easy to use. Most of the assembly is easy. But be advised, there are a couple of steps that I found .... "challenging" and I enjoyed reconnecting with some of my old sailor colorful language when screws or nuts were very difficult to reach and control. Eventually I persevered. They still have a few lessons to learn from IKEA on design for assembly. I did persevere and I am a clutz, so I think most folks will also make it.Very cool product! When you put it together, follow instructions on how to get it running and don't panic right away when display lit up but desk not moving (press and hold both up and down arrow till you hear a beep and it will start moving up and down). Works great and I can have lots of stuff on it while getting my work done standing or sitting. It is perfect for about anything you need to do. Just be sensible that it is 250 lbs weight limited so treat it as a desk, not a storage shelf for ton of your heavy office/packing crap. Otherwise, you will be pleased with quality and the functionality of this desk. Totally recommended!Love this desk. It is very sturdy and does not wobble at all at max height. Very clean look with black/black color. Took a while to assemble but instructions were great. Said ships in 3-5 weeks, but instead arrived at my house in 9 days.Very impressed with the overall build and table top quality.I like this product. We have purchased 3 of these because we like them so much.I bought this desk about a year ago. I love love love it!!! I mistakenly twisted the cord that goes to the control that moves the table up and down and shredded it. I emailed the company and explained that I needed to order the entire control box again and that it was entirely my fault. They shipped a new one immediately FREE OF CHARGE as a customer courtesy. I cannot say thank you enough!!
