Such a better value than buying a desk with these types of legs already included. The legs are very easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy. Love that you can preset your desired table top height. It's very quiet too when operating the lift feature. For the top? I simply used a 28"x68" solid core smooth luan door as the top and finished it in a beautiful black stain. I highly recommend this product.This thing is a tank. When the box arrived and was labeled 60 lbs... they meant it. All the hardware was organized for quick assembly. The shipping package was robust enough for intact arrival. Strangely one hole was not drilled large enough to clear a screw but I was lucky to have a drill bit big enough.You can tell it's a cheap lap desk. The corners are peeling already and I just got it a few days ago. The cup holder is too small for a cup. An, I had to put 2 of the screws back in because they fell out, and 2 others were loose.Honestly, I was nervous it wouldn’t be quality like the others that are almost double the price. It is extremely durable and when it rises or lowers it’s very stable and nothing on the desk shakes or moves. I would highly recommend since it is super adjustable and affordable.Enough room for laptops and writing areaVery good quality, tough built highly recommended and a lot cheaper than buying an already built desk, just bought the table top at IKEA and looks an feels great, saved about $200.The desk does not seem to go all the way down to the right height. It sits higher than the standard desk. The motor hesitates and does not have a smooth operation. I'm not sure if this is an isolated issue. It takes a few seconds for the motor to start after pressing the button, it begins moving, then hesitates by slowing down, then takes off as you would expect it from the beginning. I contacted the company three times. No response. I asked that they send me a new motor to test it out to avoid the hassle to disassembling, etc...I purchase a different brand years ago and it worked perfect from day one. Still works. If anyone from this company is reading this, please contact me. I'm hoping this is an isolated issue. Hopefully, we can fix it.The legs dont lock so they fold in with movement of the tray. The edging is coming off already.
