The chair looks great, is easy to assemble.Really easy to adjust. Very comfortable sewing chair.This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered this chair because it’s so good for that price! Easy assembly, no tools need except for the Allen key & screws that comes with it! Comfortable and has good back support!I'm 5' 3" with a 27" inseam, and I need a chair with shallow depth so that I can sit the way god intended, with my knees bent at a 45 degree angle. I'm also 140lbs, about half the weight of your mom, so results may vary. We bought this chair along with another model from a different manufacturer for about the same price. Let's begin with the price - for this price, you shouldn't expect much. The other chair delivered on that expectation - flimsy, cheap materials, and plastic base. THIS chair exceeds all expectations. The base is very thick plastic, the seat fabric is in the same style as a breathable moisture wicking fabric. ALL bolts came with a compound on them in the appearance of a thread locking compound, and if it actually is thread locking compound this that would be an amazing inclusion at even double the price range of this chair. The back is a breathable mesh. The chair is relatively solid, with little flex in the back support. The chair looks fine, it would not appear out of place next to more expensive chairs. My only complaint is that the bottom cushion is relatively thin and uncomfortable - but it's not a deal breaker. As expected for the price, the center podium does not provide a 100% flex free experience, but the amount of wobble present is negligible. The ergonomics are good, much better than any other cheap chair I've been in, and yes, my knees enjoy a full sitting range of motion now. This is a solid win. We are buying another.Firstly, the good points. This chair has really great lower back support, and the majority of the stars in the review can be attributed to this feature. The mesh back is also nice during the hot days, as it doesn't block the flow of air from the fan. The assembly was fairly straight foward, with mostly clear instructions and no need for extra tools, although I do think they could've put in there to avoid tightening the screws on the arms fully until the seat was also screwed in. It's not hard to figure out after the fact, since you quickly come to the realization the seat won't fit without a little give from the arms, but it's annoying to have to go back and loosen something you just thought you finished. Still, assembly only took me about 20 minutes and that was with me pacing myself, which isn't bad at all.Not good, but not horrible feature: the seat. It's really firm and I don't think it's ergonomic at all, unlike the back. On one hand, that's good because it means it won't flatten out like some of the more cushy seats tend to do over time, but, on the other hand, it means it's not that comfortable to begin with. Also, the meshy lining over the seat feels pretty rough on the skin and leaves imprints, which also isn't that comfortable.The bad: the armrests. I'm a petite woman who finds most desk chair armrests to be too high and, this, unfortunately, went all the way to the other side of the problem and is too low. I found myself hunching over to use the armrests all the time, which is a killer on the upper back and shoulders and is bad for posture. I can't imagine how it must be for taller people to sit in this chair. I considered returning the chair simply because of the armrest issue, but ultimately decided to keep it because the thought of disassembling it and dragging the box to return it was worse than the thought of keeping it. What I ended up doing was buying a pair of chair armrest pads that velcro on, and that made up for the little bit of height the arms needed, but it did turn this $50 purchase to a $70 purchase, so not as cheap as I thought at first.Okay so here's what you need to know. The assembly is easy and straightforward. The cushion of the seat is firm but comfortable and the lower back support is truly great. My back and spinal cord are already thanking me for switching to this chair. The armrest are too low. I don't mind that cause I'm not gonna use them at all. And if you have wide hips and a big butt; and I have both, the armrest are pretty accommodating for that. All in all a good chair for what you pay for it.The chair was an absolute step up to the wooden stools provided to me by my dorm. It is a fast, easy, affordable and reliable option for better support and comfort. The box provided came with all parts, the necessary screws and connectors, and the required Allen key to assemble, which was a big relief since I didn't need to go out and buy one.My particular order came with a missing screw, but since it was only one missing, the spare provided was able to cover for it. Sometimes, the parts would not fit cleanly into the holes to screw them into, and it would be difficult trying to wrestle the sturdy pieces into their supposed places to let the screws hold them into place. I do not know if this is because the parts warped due to temperature changes, or other factors. My roommate has purchased the same chair, and indeed, our parts seemed to fit differently (hers required more strength to bend into place, mine didn't fit snugly into some places, etc.) Despite this, I was still able to assemble my chair perfectly given a little time and patience (and energy).Overall, I am very satisfied with my chair. It fell under the perfect price point for a college student like me and offers a great amount of comfort and support. My current experience with this chair far outweighs the "bad" points I have listed, as even then, I am still able to use the chair despite all that.Mediocre chair, but then it is rather cheap. Nothing majorly wrong with it, and it even looks good. I got the white version, which looks very subtle. However, don't expect to sit on this thing for long hours. You can definitely get a couple of good hours' work in, but you will notice that it is not particularly comfortable. It does the job as an office chair, but don't expect much more.I ordered blue but got black. Other than that, it seems pretty decent. Easy to assemble.It's been less than a week and the chair sounds like it's a few years old. Squeaks and cracks a lot and it's not because I'm that heavy (140 lbs). Thank goodness I only paid $85 or I would be mad.This chair looks really nice but it is not very comfortable and it was so awkward trying to put it together. I kept it because I'm on a budget but looking back I wish I would have gotten something a bit more expensive.Like the style and look of this chair, the back support is great. Unfortunately, the arm rest height is too low and I feel like the seat is slightly forward. I know it isn’t, it is likely totally flat, I wish when tilting the seat back it would stay in this position.With the amount of time I’m working from home now I need to invest in a better quality chair but this isn’t it.These chairs seem to be good quality. I purchased 8 of them for our training room and they look very nice . The seats are quite firm but not uncomfortable. The mesh back is firm as well, and seems to be be well constructed. The wheels are smooth and the mechanisms to adjust the chais work well. The description and photos are very accurate. I would recommend these chairs.
