I bought this item for my wife. She has some mobility issues and this has been helpful in allowing some exercise without associated impact on joints. She enjoys using it. She's starting at the lowest speed level and hopes to work her way up. I like that it has a resistance element to it. She hasn't used that yet, but, when the time comes we know it's there to make her exercising even more effective. Instructions are clear. It's simple to use. It's a a bit heavy so I have to move it in place for her. You may want to consider that for your situation.
