Update: I purchased the monitor arm to hold my two 24 inch monitors. It appears to be made out of aluminum and works as expected. The price seemed to be a lot less than other units charged to hold two monitors. Also got the tray to give me some extra space on my EFD adjustable desk. It is the same steel that is in the desk and is very solid!Original Review:I wanted a desk riser that didn’t take up much space on my desk/workbench. This seemed to fit the bill. I was concerned because of the low number of reviews and the low price. One of my associates has a WorkFit, but it was a lot more expensive and I wanted this for my home.What a great surprise. The EFD is heavy duty and very sturdy for my use. It works exactly as I had hoped it would. I can stand or sit while using my computer and I can push it out of the way when I am doing other work.I am very happy with my purchase and recommend it.I was very impressed with the quality of construction for the Rocelco sit stand desk, it is made of heavy duty metal. I don't know what gauge metal it is made of but it is beefy. The mounting clamp has 3 pressure points so you can get a very sturdy mount. I looked at many sit stand options and decided on the Rocelco Floating Desk. I don't have a-lot of room and i have a small desk, 36 x 24. I didn't want something that took up all my desktop area. This unit can be moved out of the way when you need to use your desk space. There are a ton of adjustments on this so that you can get a position that is comfortable. I don't have anymore neck and arm pain so i know it works! When you first put it together you will need to loosen the adjustable arm quite a bit to free it up so that it can be raised and lowered. I had to adjust the arm about 12 -15 half turns. Once you get it adjusted for your monitor and keyboard weight you don't have to make any further changes, it will move up or down when you push or pull on it. I have one of those ergonomic keyboards and there is enough room on the keyboard tray for the keyboard and mouse. Very nice unit and i am glad i bought it.This product does not work at all. I installed it per the instructions with the corresponding Rocelco desk lift kit. It won't raise or lower without the use of 2 people. This is certainly not what I expected nor is it as advertised. It took me a while to install it because I was remodeling the office when I purchased it. because of this the seller will not stand behind their product. I will never buy anything else from this seller or this manufacturer. Please steer clear of Rocelco and Stores123 on Amazon.The EFD takes up almost no space on my small desk which is loaded with stuff. I love that I can adjust the monitor and keyboard position exactly where I want it sitting or standing, it's really helped my neck painWhen I first received this it was missing a part to attach the small middle shelf. The vendor was very good about sending a replacement part but the overall design doesn't work for me.I have tried this for a while now and it is not working out. The entire contraption is wobbly. As I type this the monitors wobble with every keystroke. They also don't say in position - I have tightened everything and they still move left/right up/down every hour or so. The biggest problem is that angle of the vertical arm - it is way to vertical. I have a regular size desk and prior to this I had a dual monitor arm with my keyboard on the desk. The monitors went from being about 20 inches away from my face to just 10. This can't be adjusted. This is not ideal ergonomics to say the least.It will now go to the trash heap or ??I dont even have what this is for. It was just $0.06 so I couldn't resist and it's repurposableSolid construction except for the post that attaches to the desk. Because of this weak link, the entire stand is incredibly wobbly and basically unusable. Returned it immediately.
