UPDATE: I returned the two leg version for the four leg version, and the wobble is gone. Returning was a huge pain, but it was ultimately worth the hassle and extra expense. The four legged version is solid as a rock. So it’s notmw probsbly a 4 or 5 star review, but I’m going to leave it as 2-star, since this is in reference to the 2-legend desk.This is a 5-star desk with a huge 1-star problem. I got the 72x30 V2 Commercial desk. Sales was helpful, desk arrived quickly, instructions were clear, raise/lower mechanism is great, and the desk is very heavy and solidly built. I've never had a standing desk before, and I absolutely love standing while working (never thought I'd say that).So this thing is amazing...Except...When I type, regardless of whether I'm sitting or standing, the desk wobbles as I type. Wobbles bad enough that the monitors wobble sympathetically. Not a ton, but when you spend all day typing at a screen, a little bit of wobble adds up over time to be a seriously distracting headache.I've been in contact with Uplift, and first they suggested I tighten all the nuts and bolts, which I have done. No change. Then I was told by their warranty department (after sending videos of the issue) that this effect is totally normal and there is "no issue" with the desk. But at least for me, this thing is a bit of a disaster. It's so heavy that the thought of returning it fills me with dread--and then I'd be without a desk entirely. Ugh. (Also, I threw away all the boxes as soon as i got it assembled, because they took up so much space, but that's a whole separate problem). And while their sales department was fantastic during the sales process, they have been a whole lot slower to respond now that I have a problem. It has not been a positive experience. Even typing this review, watching my monitors shake, is driving me nuts.The desk is very highly reviewed, and a buddy of mine has one that (he says) does not exhibit this issue. His desk is 60x30, but we don't live in the same area, so I can't go see if his desk actually does wobble, but just doesn't bother him, or if a narrower desk exhibits less of a problem, or if the legs on my desk are somehow less stiff than his.So now I don't know what to do. Aside from the wobble, this thing is great, but there's a bit of "other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?" If every standing desk does this, then I have no idea how anybody can stand it (pun intended).So yeah, before you drop a grand on this desk, go try one out...somewhere...to make sure you can tolerate the wiggle.
