This is a nice size and the numbers are visible from several feet away. You can easily adjust the brightness of the display, and the lowest setting is pretty dim which is nice for use in the bedroom. I find this clock very easy to use. Easy to set, easy to adjust the brightness of the display, easy to adjust the volume of the alarm. The display always shows the day, date, time, & temperature. It runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included) but if you want the clock to display all the time, it needs to be plugged into a USB outlet (the USB cord is provided). Otherwise, the display will be dark until you push a button on the top so the display will light for a few seconds then it will go dark again. But it IS keeping time while the display is off, so you don't have to reset the clock each time. (It also has a setting to show a 12 or 24 hour clock.)
