This is one of those few products where you take a chance, buy it, and feel like you got more than your money's worth.I did a lot of looking for the desk that would be the right dimensions (not a full size office desk), was aesthetically pleasing, and would be comfortable/easy to use. Did a lot of comparing and narrowed it down to this model and one that cost around $560. The reviews for this desk were shining, while the more expensive desk complained of wobbliness and a few other issues.Happy to report that the shining reviews on this desk were dead-on accurate. It's sturdy. It may be because I use it on carpet, but it came with four locking castors and I have no trouble moving it on my California shag carpet. The desk is a comfortable height and I'm 5'8. Adjusts easily, beautiful finish--looks like reddish oak to me. I'm an author, so I use this desk for long hours, all day long, raising it up and down as I feel fatigue either sitting or standing. Those actions take me five seconds to complete, and I'm back to work.I love the size of the desk top and keyboard tray too. I wanted something that I could have in my living room without overwhelming the room and making it feel like an office. While not enormous, there is room on the top shelf for everything I need: my laptop, coffee, and phone. Or the phone can sit on the keyboard shelf. It really is the perfect size for me. I even 'modded' it by adding a drink holder for my water that attaches to the side and has a garbage bag that I turned into a holder for my pens/highlighers/remote control/etc. I also added a key ring loop (I had this laying around) beneath the desk top (Gorilla Glue'd it on) to help keep my computer cord from getting caught under the castors.It's not perfect to use while sitting in my rocking/glider chair since the keyboard feels a little awkward, but it is useable and comfortable to do my social media work. Since my glider isn't an office chair, I don't fault the product one bit for not functioning at top capacity in this situation. In fact, I'm impressed that I can use it while sitting in my glider at all. Absolutely love this desk and would recommend to anyone who hates sitting all day and wants to give their back a break.
